Today, May 1, 2015, The Northfield Township Police Department has taken several Larceny from Auto Complaints in the area of Lincoln and Ash Dr, as well as, the Eagle Gardens Sub off East Shore Dr. There have been 9 reported vehicles that were broken into during the evening hours. Taken were various men’s and women’s purses/wallets, cash, clothing and other misc. items. All vehicles were parked at a residence and were unlocked at the time.

Information developed during the course of the day and we received a tip indicating that some of the property may be being sold online. This information was turned over to the Northfield Police Detective who developed enough evidence for a search warrant of a suspect’s residence. Officers executed the search warrant of the suspect’s residence and recovered several of the stolen items. The suspect was not home during this time and is still being sought after for questioning.
