Here is the latest road condition update.
FM 66 from the City limit at Alyssa to downtown is clear, there are some large puddles of standing water in some places that can cause hydroplaning, but if you take it slow you should be fine.
FM 66 from FM 916 toward Itasca is closed at Butler road, there is fast moving water crossing it and about 1/4 mile of the roadway is underwater.
Old Maypearl Road has a section of roadway about 1/4 mile that is underwater just off of First Street, after that it is clear all the way to Casa Grande, and the metal bridge is open.
Smith Road, the bridge is completely under water and the road is impassable.
Barton Road, both bridges are completely under water and the road is impassable.
Wiggins Road, the water is up to the roadway at the bridge, and the road itself is flooded on both sides of the roadway. It is not recommended for use.
FM 157 is clear from town all the way to Ozro road
The intersection of FM 916 and FM 66 has begun to flood and will continue to rise as long as the rain continues.
