On Tuesday, May 5, 2015, at approximately 7:46 p.m., while conducting an investigation into an alleged inappropriate relationship with a female minor, detectives from the Cypress Police Department arrested Danny Aguilar (7-2-1954) for contacting a minor with the intent to commit a felony, arranging a meeting with a child for lewd purposes, child annoyance, and an enhancement for a child who is 14-15 years old with a suspect that is greater than 10 years older than the victim. The suspect was taken into custody in the area of Walker Street and Newman Street in the City of Cypress after trying to meet with the victim to engage in lewd conduct. Aguilar was arrested without incident. He was later released from Orange County Jail after he posted bail on a $100,000 bond. At this time, there is no indication of any additional victims.
