Bridge Open Be Alert to Construction 
The westbound span of the Wright Memorial Bridge is now open for traffic leaving the Outer Banks. It is reduced to one lane on the Currituck County side as paving is completed. The eastbound span has been reduced to one lane while road crews remove cones and repaint the lines. Be alert to changing traffic patterns in the area and the 45 mph speed limit on the bridge as this project comes to a conclusion.
