Visit the City's CLEAN Team booth at Chula Vista Community 5K Fun Run on Saturday
The City of Chula Vista's CLEAN Team will be participating in the 7th Annual Chula Vista Community 5K Fun Run at the U.S. Olympic Training Center on Saturday (May 16th). Stop by the City's booth to learn about free environmental services to help your wallet and to help keep Chula Vista CLEAN! This includes information about energy efficiency, water conservation, home composting, recycling, and much more.
The event will be held on the U.S. Olympic Training Center’s inspirational grounds where participants have the opportunity to run alongside Olympians through the exclusive Olympic Village -- all to benefit a great cause. The U.S. Olympic Training Center, Friends of Chula Vista Park and Recreation, Chula Vista Recreation Department, and other sponsors including Aquatica, have joined efforts and are partnering in the event which helps support free after school health and wellness programs in Chula Vista. A community expo and celebration with food, fun, music, a silent auction and opportunity drawing will follow the race.
