2 people in custody in connection to residential burglary in Southeast Greene County,
Greene County Sheriff's Deputies searching for possible third suspect
On Wednesday (05/13/15) night at approximately 9:02 p.m., Greene County Sheriff's Deputies were called to a home in the 1500 block of S Royal after the homeowner called stating she could hear someone walking around her house. During the 911 call, she said she could see someone walking towards her and then lost contact with the call-taker.
Within minutes, GCSO Deputies arrived to the location and encountered a male subject in the doorway. When Deputies tried to contact him, the suspect immediately fled on foot into the neighborhood.
Several GCSO Deputies responded to the area and established a perimeter to search for the suspect. They located a suspicious vehicle in the area and detained the two occupants. A 32-year old white female and 27-year old male were arrested and transported to the Greene County Jail in connection to the burglary.
The investigation is still on-going and GCSO Deputies are actively searching for a possible third suspect.
