Two Day Sweep by Clean Team Results in Five Arrests

Miami/Fulton Counties – A recent two day sweep by members of the CLEAN Team has resulted in five arrests from Fulton, Cass, and Miami Counties.

On Wednesday officers served Ricky Sneeling, 27, Rochester, IN, with two Fulton Superior Court arrest warrants alleging probation violations for previous possession of methamphetamine charges. He was taken into custody without incident at a home on 5525 North State Road 25, Talma, IN. Kurt Miller, 44, Peru, IN, was arrested at 2096 South Holiday Drive, Peru, IN. He was served a Miami County arrest warrant alleging probation violation for an original charge of manufacturing methamphetamine. Troy Horn, 48, Walton, IN, was served a Miami County arrest warrant at 201 Howard Street, Walton, IN. He was wanted for probation violation on an original charge for possession of cocaine.

On Thursday night, officers executed a search warrant at 9658 West Section Drive, Rochester, IN. During their search, officers allegedly found a methamphetamine lab and methamphetamine. Bernard Bell, 48, and Amanda Wicker, 34, were arrested and incarcerated in the Fulton County Jail. Bell faces felony charges for manufacturing methamphetamine and possession of methamphetamine. Wicker faces felony charges for conspiracy to manufacturing methamphetamine and possession of methamphetamine. They were both allegedly out on bond from a previous methamphetamine case. Officers from the Fulton County Sheriff’s Department assisted with the warrant service. The Aubbenaubbee Township Fire Department also assisted at the scene and members of the Indiana State Police Clandestine Lab Team cleaned up the purported methamphetamine lab.

The CLEAN Team is a recently created task force with 11 law enforcement entities that have dedicated resources to fight narcotics in Fulton and Miami Counties. CLEAN stands for Combined Law Enforcement Against Narcotics. The main focus of the task force is narcotics enforcement with an emphasis on methamphetamine related crimes. 

Law enforcement officers encourage anyone with information about the possession, distribution, or manufacturing of narcotics to call their local law enforcement agency or the Indiana State Police Drug Tip Line at 1-800-453-4756. Information can be reported anonymously.

 

All criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until, and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
