We just wanted to put out a few friendly reminders:
1. The traffic lights on Long Beach Boulevard and Central Avenue will be turned on Monday, 5/18. Use caution when approaching intersections.
2. Speed limits on Long Beach Boulevard and Central Avenue have been lowered. Long Beach Boulevard is now 30 mph (from 35). Central Avenue is now 35 mph (from 40). Barnegat Avenue is still 25 mph.
3. Dogs are NOT permitted on the beach from May 1st - Oct 1st. On a side note, you must clean up after your dog(s)!
4. Seasonal beach badges are on sale at Borough Hall every day from 9am - 4:30pm. The badge booth is located at the rear of Borough Hall.
