On 05/20/2015 just after 11:30 am, Steuben County Sheriff’s detectives apprehended 21 year old Zachary Scott Anderson of Orland in connection with an alleged violation of Indiana’s Sex and Violent Offender Registry law. Anderson was taken into custody at the Sheriff’s Office on an arrest warrant issued by the Steuben Circuit Court charging Anderson with failing to register as a sex or violent offender with a previous conviction, a level 5 felony. The arrest warrant comes after a Steuben County Sheriff’s Office investigation into allegations that Anderson failed to report required information to the Sheriff’s Office. Anderson remains held in the Steuben County Jail in lieu of a $5,000.00 bond.
