GC Prosecuting Attorney's Office charges burglar caught by homeowner

On Tuesday (05/19/15) afternoon, Greene County Sheriff's Deputies responded to the area of 2400 S Camber in eastern Greene County after the homeowner called 911 to report a burglary in progress. The homeowner came home for lunch and observed an orange Ford Escape parked in her driveway; when she confronted the female driver, she learned there was an unknown male in her home.

The two suspects left the location and were stopped in the area of E State Highway D and S Pin Oak Dr. The 32-year old female was detained and the 34-year old male suspect fled on foot for a short distance but was also apprehended. The female was later released without any charges.

The Greene County Prosecuting Attorney's Office has charged 34-year old ADRIAN ALANIZ with:
1 - Felony count of Burglary in the First Degree
1 - Felony count of Resisting/Interfering with an Arrest
(bond amount $10,000.00, warrant #1531-CR03131)
