McDonald’s Worker Arrested after Smoking Marijuana in Parking Lot
Kokomo – Recently, a stop at the McDonald’s on 201 East Lincoln Street, Kokomo, IN, by Trooper Chuck Meyer, led to the arrest of Samantha Cole Sheridan, 20, Greentown, IN.
Monday at approximately 9:14 a.m., Trooper Meyer was entering the restaurant when he allegedly observed Sheridan sitting in a Toyota Camry, in the parking lot, smoking what appeared to be a hand rolled marijuana cigarette. When Meyer approached Sheridan, he smelled the odor of burnt marijuana emitting from the vehicle. Further investigation revealed numerous partially burnt marijuana cigarettes inside the Toyota. Officers also found items of drug paraphernalia. Sheridan was arrested and incarcerated in the Howard County Jail to face criminal charges for possession of marijuana under 30 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Sheridan was allegedly on a break when she was arrested.
Trooper Meyer was assisted at the scene by Trooper Adam Duffitt and Trooper Josh Tarrh.
All criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until, and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
