Wanted registered sex offender Matthew Epperson apprehended in Angola, Indiana. 
On 05/20/2015 just before 5:30 pm, wanted registered sex offender 29 year old Matthew Ray Epperson was located and apprehended by the Angola Police Department in the 1200 block of West Maumee Street in Angola without incident. Epperson was wanted out of Steuben County on a warrant charging Epperson with one count of failure to register as a sex or violent offender, a level 6 felony. Epperson was booked into the Steuben County Jail where he remains held in lieu of a $10,000 bond. The Sheriff’s Office would like to thank those who assisted by providing tips and information.
