Severe Thunderstorm Watch 
The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for Whitley County which is effective until 10:00pm this evening. The primary threat with these storms is strong gusty winds. Isolated tornadoes cannot be ruled out but there is a very small probability of these occurring at this time.

Residents are encouraged to take preparatory steps now, including reviewing family safety plans, activating NWS weather radios and following local media sources for important updates.
