The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for Livingston County. This will be in effect until 10:00pm today.
Thunderstorms, accompanied by locally heavy rainfall at times, will be expected. A few storms may be severe.
A WATCH means that atmospheric conditions are favorable for severe thunderstorm development.
A WARNING means that a severe thunderstorm is imminent, and to take cover immediately.
