Vehicle # 1 Gage was wearing a seatbelt sustained cuts and bruises

SUMMARY OF CRASH: Operator Gage was traveling North on US RTE 7 at a high speed.
Failed to negotiate a curve to his left. Gage went off the roadway and was out of control for over 633 feet. His vehicle struck a culvert and rolled over up to 7 times coming to rest on its roof. Gage was stuck in the driver’s seat with his seatbelt on and had to be cut out by Swanton Fire Dept. Gage was processed for suspected DUI and charged with C&N and DUI. The fact that Gage was wearing his seat belt in this type of high speed violent crash was found to be the reason he escaped serious injury.
