School Cancelled at Rivera Middle School due to Threat
On May 27, 2015, at 6:00 a.m. Pico Rivera Station received a call of from an unidentified male who made a threat to Rivera Middle School, located at 7200 Citronell Avenue, Pico Rivera.
Pico Rivera Deputies immediately responded to the school and canceled school activity for the day. Detectives are currently investigating the credibility of the threat. No injuries were reported.
No evacuations were needed, as the school was not open at the time the threatening call was made. No students or faculty are on campus.
