**REWARD** LASD Seeking Public’s Help with Info Leading to the Arrest of Hit-and-Run Suspect, #LASD East LA Station
On Saturday, March 14, 2015, at approximately 5:20 a.m. a 43-year-old female pedestrian, resident of Maywood, was struck by a vehicle in the 4800 block of Randolph Street in the City of Maywood. The female pedestrian (depicted in the attached photograph) was struck by a driver who fled the scene and did not stop to render aid or call for emergency response. A citizen who was driving by, saw the vehicle striking the pedestrian and called 9-1-1. The citizen was unable to see the driver of the vehicle or obtain the vehicle’s license plate number.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Based on the preliminary investigation, it is believed the suspect’s vehicle is a 2009 Dodge Ram model with dark color metallic paint.
At this time there is no description or information of the driver of the vehicle.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, East Los Angeles Station Traffic Investigation Unit, is seeking the assistance of the public in providing any information leading to the identification of the suspect and suspect vehicle. A photograph of a similar type vehicle involved in the collision is depicted in the attached photograph. Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors Office is offering a $25,000.00 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the driver.
