The NJDOT has advised that from 8 p.m. Friday, May 29 to 5 a.m. Monday, June 1, travel lanes will be reduced in both directions on the Route 18 bridge over Route 1, with 15-minute stoppages anticipated. Additionally, the Route 1 southbound ramp to Route 18 southbound will be closed for the duration of the weekend.
These lane closures and stoppages are part of an ongoing construction project on Route 18.
Accordingly, the NJDOT urges motorists to seek other travel routes in the area, as heavy delays are expected.
