Burglary suspects arrested one still at large considered armed and dangerous
May 22-23, 2015 a residence in the North West part of Giles County was burglarized at least twice. During the theft approximately 52 firearms and ammunition were stolen. A vast majority of these firearms are high capacity rifles and very expensive. Investigators with the Giles County Sheriff’s Department went to Mt Pleasant community and apprehended four individuals in connection to the crime. Through the course of the interviews it was determined that seven individuals had participate in the burglary and theft of said firearms.
Investigators recovered twenty-four of the firearms and some ammunition. Investigators have information that some of the firearms are on the streets between Columbia and Nashville.
Arrested and charged with aggravated burglary, theft over $10,000 are:
Geoffrey Kayne Beard, 18 years old from Mt. Pleasant
Robert Joseph Cane Buie, 18 years old from Mt. Pleasant
Hiley Dakota Titus II, 18 years old from Mt. Pleasant
Devin Lee Legon, 19 years old form Mt. Pleasant
Still at large and wanted is William Authur Brown, age 34 from Ethridge, TN. Brown has an extensive violent criminal record. Brown has made statements that he would not go back to prison and is considered heavily armed and extremely dangerous. Warrants are on file for aggravated burglary and theft over $10,000.
