Instructions:
If you have a HEARO Home Alert Radio, the HEARO Radio will sound a low alert, and a message will scroll across the screen on the front of the radio. In a real emergency, the alert tone will be at a higher volume and you would be given instructions regarding evacuation orders and other incident information.
To silence the radio, press the “Message” button on the front of the radio.
The NOAA radio station may continue to broadcast at a loud volume. To silence the “NOAA” broadcast, push the “Power” button on the far right of the radio.
