Wilson was arrested at approximately 2:33 pm in the 2800 block of Parkview. He was charged with Evading in a Vehicle and two unrelated warrants.
The arrests stem from a shots fired call that the WFPD received today at approximately 8:38 am in the 4800 blk of Johnson Rd. The disturbance involved 2 vehicles both of which had fled the scene in opposite directions prior to officer arrival. Multiple shell casings were found on scene. One of the vehicles, occupied by a male and 2 females, drove to the police department. While searching for the second vehicle, WFPD patrol officers attempted to stop a vehicle matching the description but that vehicle fled and started throwing items out of the windows. The vehicle was occupied by 2 males and a female. The vehicle came to a stop in the 2700 blk of Palmetto and the 2 males fled on foot. The female, later identified as Koerth, was detained. Officers began searching the area for the males. Wilson was located in the 2800 block of Parkview. The second male suspect has not yet been located. He is described as a Hispanic male with a ponytail and tattoos.
A firearm was also recovered.
