UPDATE: We have safely negotiated with the 70 year-old female thanks to our Crisis Intervention Team. Remember, we are always available if you, or someone you know, is in mental distress. ORIGINAL MESSAGE: We are currently in the area of Villa and Escuela on a call involving an elderly woman in distress. At this time, we have our Crisis Intervention Team working with her in the hopes that we can resolve this peacefully. It is possible that she has a weapon, so we have set-up a perimeter and have asked neighbors to either evacuate or to stay inside. We will provide updates as we have them.
