Full Notification

The D-19 rehabilitation project will begin June 8th. The project will start with the closure of D-19 from the I-96 overpass to just north of the westbound ramps. The Park-and-Ride lot will also be closed. Ramps to and from westbound I-96 will be closed from June 8 – 25th. Use the Latson Road exit as a detour route. The entire project is due to be completed by August 28th.

Work will be done in three phases:
Phase 1: widening a portion of the road to create a center left turn lane at the traffic signal. To be completed by June 25th.
Phase 2: widening a portion of D-19 south of I-96 to extend the left turn lane from the I-96 on-ramp to Schroeder Park Drive. A temporary lane will be open to maintain two-way traffic.
Phase 3: repaving road surface, and a paved shoulder. All work to be complete by August 28th.
