On Sunday evening, June 7, 2015, Warsaw Narcotics officers used a combination of tips and surveillance that led to the arrests of two Warsaw residents for manufacturing and dealing in Methamphetamine. Investigators were tipped off that dealing and manufacturing may be taking place at lot #53 in Shamrock Mobile Home Park, on the north side of Warsaw. After confirming information in the tips, investigators went to lot #53. Upon arrival, chemical odors known to be associated with the manufacture of Methamphetamine were detected. Officers gained entry and located Scott Reiter, 52 years old, and Lee Ann Lowrance, 31 years old, hiding in a bedroom closet and were taken into custody. The residence was secured and a search warrant was obtained.

In the search, investigators located an active one pot meth lab that had been hidden in a floor register. Multiple other spent one pot labs and HCL generators were located inside where Mr. Reiter and Ms. Lowrance reside. The Indiana State Police Clandestine Lab Team was contacted to assist Warsaw detectives in dismantling the lab and cleanup of the scene. Investigators were also assisted by the Warsaw Fire Department, who stood by due to the fire and explosion hazard that existed.

Scott Reiter and Lee Ann Lowrance were both arrested and charged with the following charges:
Manufacturing Methamphetamine, 5-10 grams, a level 3 felony;
Dealing Methamphetamine, a level 5 felony;
and Possession of Precursors, a level 6 felony.
They are both being held with no bond in the Kosciusko County Jail. Warsaw Narcotics officers continue to investigate this incident and additional charges are anticipated. Additional arrests may be forthcoming pending the outcome of the investigation.

Warsaw Narcotics officers were assisted by Warsaw Patrol officers, Indiana State Police Clandestine Lab team, Warsaw Fire Department, and the Kosciusko County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.
