On Saturday, June 13, 2015, the City of Lawndale will be hosting their 2015 Health Safety and Pet Fair. The event will be held at 14717 Burin Avenue, Lawndale, California 90260, (intersection of West 147th Street and Burin Avenue), from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.

Road Closures: West 147th Street from Hawthorne Boulevard to Burin Avenue and Burin Avenue from De Oro Lane to the City Hall south parking lot. Affected streets will be closed from 7:00 a.m. until 2:30 p.m.

Deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, South Los Angeles Station/Lawndale Service Center will be on hand to answer questions about the Sheriff's Department, neighborhood watch and crime prevention. Other events and activities will consist of: dog licensing and vaccinations, petting zoo, health presentations, healthy snacks, information booths, food vendors, live entertainment and fitness demonstrations. Bring the entire family, all events are free, except food.
