Special Olympics Torch Run Through the City of Lawndale, June 12, 2015, 10 a.m. Watch for runners, expect delays.
On Friday, June 12, 2015, at 10 a.m. the Special Olympics Torch will make its way through the City of Lawndale. The Hawthorne Police Department will pass the torch to Sheriff’s Department personnel and City of Lawndale personnel at Rosecrans Avenue and Hawthorne Boulevard. The runners will make their way through the city and will pass the torch to Officers from the Gardena Police Department at Crenshaw Boulevard and Manhattan Beach Boulevard.
Watch for runners and expect minor delays.
