Kennesaw Police Department Hosts Gun Safety Seminar

Kennesaw, Ga. (June 6, 2015) The Kennesaw Police Department will be hosting a one day seminar focusing on firearm safety on Saturday, June 27, at the Ben Robertson Community Center from 9:00 am -12:00 pm.

Members of the Kennesaw Police Department will be on hand to provide the attendees with the basic knowledge necessary to own a firearm. The agenda will consist of information regarding basic firearms safety and Georgia gun laws. The seminar is free to the public and requires no pre-registration. Free gun locks will also be available while supplies last.

Chief Westenberger stated, “I am proud to provide this opportunity to our community. The material presented will be invaluable information regarding guns and gun safety.”

For the safety of all attendees, the public is asked not to bring any firearms or any other weapons to the class.
