Announces:
Two Arrests Made Following the Execution of a Search and Seizure Warrant – Narcotics Investigation
The Southern Pines Police Department announces the following arrests from a collaborative investigation conducted by the Southern Pines Police Department and the Moore County Sheriff’s Office. These arrests culminated with the execution of a search and seizure warrant by the Southern Pines Police Department’s Special Response Team at 1043 W. New Hampshire Avenue, Southern Pines, North Carolina on June 11, 2015. As a result of this search, cocaine and marijuana were seized, along with items of drug paraphernalia, two firearms and United States currency. Upon the initial entry into the home by the Special Response Team, the accused suspect Christan Jovonn Terry was found lying in bed armed with a loaded .12 gauge shotgun which was swiftly separated from his possession by expert operatives of the Special Response Team without further incident or injury.
Christan Jovonn Terry, 29 years of age of Southern Pines, North Carolina was arrested and charged with the following offenses:
Felony Possession of Cocaine, Possession with the Intent to Sell and Deliver Cocaine, Possession with the Intent to Sell and Deliver Marijuana, Possession of Marijuana, Maintaining a Dwelling/Place for Controlled Substances, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Deangelo Marquise Lloyd, 18 years of age of Southern Pines, North Carolina was arrested and charged with the following offenses:
Felony Possession of Cocaine, Possession with the Intent to Sell and Deliver Cocaine, Possession with the Intent to Sell and Deliver Marijuana, Possession of Marijuana, Maintaining a Dwelling/Place for Controlled Substances, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Christan Jovonn Terry and Deangelo Marquise Lloyd appeared before a Moore County Magistrate and were incarcerated in the Moore County Detention Center, both under a $20,000.00 secured bond pending a hearing in Moore County District Court on July 14, 2015.
