Madison – A local man was stabbed during an altercation in Madison Sunday evening.

On June 14, 2015 Trooper Dustin Whitaker responded to a report of a fight in progress on Skyline Drive in Madison. When Trooper Whitaker and Jefferson County deputies arrived, they learned that one of the participants had been stabbed. William Cox 36, of Madison was transported to King’s Daughter Hospital with a stab wound. Cox was treated for the injury and released from the hospital.

This investigation is continuing. At this time, no suspect has been named. An update will follow once further information is obtained.

Trooper Whitaker was assisted by Jefferson County Sheriff Department and King’s Daughter Ambulance.
