Payson FD and USFS units on scene of a 3+ acre brush fire in the Rye Creek Drainage along SR87. Multiple firefighting aircraft are operating over the fire with a hotshot crew enroute. SR87 is restricted to one lane southbound in the fire area but SR 87 remains open.
