Fire units starting to be released from the fire in the Rye Creek drainage at SR 87. No update on fire size yet but forward rate of spread has been slowed sufficiently to allow the release of Payson FD units and one USFS engine. SR 87 continues to be restricted to one lane southbound. Continue to use caution in the area and watch for smoke blowing across highway.
