We are currently accepting applications for the position of “Part-time Corrections Officer”
Correction's officers are responsible for overseeing individuals who have been arrested and are awaiting trial or who have been sentenced to serve time in a jail or prison.
This job is not for everyone...Working in a correctional institution can be stressful and dangerous. Because jail security must be provided 24 hours a day, officers work all hours of the day and night, weekends, and holidays.
This position is part-time with a starting rate of pay of $13.00 per hour. Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent , be able to pass psychological testing, drug testing and be in good physical health. Applicants will also be required to pass a extensive background check including polygraph or voice stress analysis testing prior to employment.
