National Lightning Awareness Week 
In case you didn’t know, it’s National Lightning Awareness Week! Believe it or not, there are approximately 25 million cloud-to-ground lightning strikes, in the United States alone. CPD wants to make sure you are informed and making the right decisions during inclement weather.
Stay safe out there and remember the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) warning, "When Thunder Roars, Go Indoors!"
