On Thursday, June 25, 2015, the Corona Police Department will be conducting joint tactical training exercises with the Corona Fire Department. This training will present a new approach, whereby fire personnel, under the protection of law enforcement, will be able to get to injured victims much more quickly to provide life-saving treatment and/or extrication. The training will be occurring at a school within the Corona Norco Unified School District while students are away on Summer Break.

Creating a training event to include all of the staff of two different departments is a huge undertaking. The strong working relationship between the Corona Police and Fire Department is a direct contribution to the success of this joint training event to ensure the safety and security of the public.
