The Search for Marina Continues…
Bloomfield – (Greene County) The Indiana State Police and the Greene County Prosecutor’s Office, along with community volunteers all joined the Vigo County Search and Rescue Team this past weekend to conduct the third search for Marina Boelter over the past month.
The volunteers came from as far away as Kentucky and Wisconsin with their K-9 counterparts and gave up their personal time off in the search for Miss Boelter, who was last seen New Year's Eve, 2014. Members of the Mineral United Methodist Church also invited all law enforcement and search party members to utilize their facilities for the duration of their stay.
Several areas were searched near Bloomfield; everything from woods, fields and wells were searched by K-9's and drones. Detective Brad Stille said “the Vigo County Search & Rescue Team is a very professional, well organized and highly trained group. I hope to be utilizing their services in the future as we continue to search for Marina”.
