Traffic Stop Leads to 3 Felony Drug Arrests
Bloomington – Yesterday evening just after 5 pm, Trooper Riley Nungester observed a traffic violation and stopped the vehicle on State Road 46 near State Road 37. The driver was identified as Steve Beadle, 36, of Bloomington. Beadle was found to be operating the vehicle with a suspended driver’s license and had previous convictions on his driver’s record. Beadle was also found to be in possession of approximately 25 grams of a powder that field tested positive for heroin and over $2,000 in United States Currency.
The street value of heroin was in excess of $5,000.
Beadle was incarcerated in the Monroe County Jail on the following charges;
1) Dealing in a Narcotic drug over 10 grams, a Level 2 Felony,
2) Possession of a Narcotic Drug between 10 and 28 grams, a Level 4 Felony
3) Maintaining a Common Nuisance, a Level 6 Felony.
