Lindenwold Municipal Alliance Hosted Bike Safety Rodeo at Summer Recreation Program today.

This morning the Lindenwold Municipal Alliance in partnership with the Lindenwold Police Department, Camden County Division of Highway Traffic Safety and NJ Safe Kids hosted a bicycle safety course. Children participating in the Lindenwold Municipal Alliance Summer Recreation Program were provided bicycle safety tips from NJ Safe Kids. Each child was also given a bicycle helmet inspection and instructions on how to properly wear a helmet. Lindenwold Police Bicycle Officers assisted the children with navigating through a bicycle course.
The children were also provided with a packet of safety information and some children won one of 12 brand new bicycle that were raffled off. The bicycles were donated by the Lindenwold Municipal Alliance. The Lindenwold Municipal Alliance would like to thank everyone who helped out today with the bicycle safety rodeo. A special thank you to Maureen Donnelly of NJ Safe Kids and Diana Kozak of Camden County Traffic Safety Division for their assistance with setting up the event and making it a success.
