Rollover Crash on I-69 in Steuben County Injures Two
(Steuben County, IN)-The Indiana State Police in Fort Wayne is investigating a single vehicle rollover crash that occurred earlier this evening on I-69 near Fremont that injured two people and closed the northbound lanes for approximately an hour.
Preliminary investigation by Trooper James Stevens indicated that at approximately 7:35 p.m., a 1994 Honda Accord driven by 40 year old Timothy McFellin of Battle Creek, Michigan was traveling northbound on I-69 near the 354 mile marker. For reasons yet to be determined, the Honda rolled multiple times coming to a rest, upright across both northbound lanes.
As a result of the crash, McFellin was transported to Parkview Regional Medical Center along with his adult passenger, 41 year old Teresa Shadle of Fort Wayne. His 13 year old passenger, Jacob McFellin was transported to Cameron Hospital in Angola. The elder McFellin and Shadle’s conditions are not known at this time. The younger McFellin was determined to be uninjured. Stevens was assisted at the scene by the Steuben County Sheriff Department, Fremont Police Department, Angola Police Department, Angola Fire Department, and Steuben County EMS.
This crash remains under investigation.
