Woodstown Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance with identifying the suspect involved in the bank robbery that occurred on 07/01/15 at 1:50p.m at the Fulton Bank. The investigation revealed that a male subject entered via the main entrance and demanded cash from a teller. The subject was wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt, a purple tee shirt, sunglasses and a blue “Superman” hat with a red brim and red markings. The subject’s approximate height is 6’2” and he has a medium build. The subject disguised his face and his race remains unknown. The subject departed the bank with an undetermined amount of cash. He was last seen walking on South Main Street near the intersection of West Avenue. Sgt. Mattson and Cpl. LaPalomento of the Woodstown Police Department are investigating the crime. The Salem County Prosecutor’s Office, New Jersey State Police and Salem County Sheriff’s Department assisted the Woodstown Police Department.
