*SHERIFF'S CRIME ALERT*
The GCSO wants to alert the citizens of an increase of thefts from vehicles. In 2015 during the month of June, there were 53 reported thefts from vehicles throughout Greene County; there were 31 reports in April & 33 reports in May.
Help prevent yourself from becoming the next victim by:
- locking your vehicle
- remove any valuables from sight
- remove any garage door openers, firearms or electronics
Electronic roadside signs will be posted in areas that have seen an increase of reported thefts:
- North Farm Road 151 (North Grant Avenue) & West Beverly Hills Drive
- South Farm Road 135 (South Golden Avenue) & West Republic Road
- South Farm Road 129 & West Farm Road 146
Report any suspicious activity to 911.
