EXTREME WESTERN NORTH CAROLINA
MIDDLE AND EAST TENNESSEE
* EFFECTIVE THIS TUESDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING FROM 145 PM UNTIL
900 PM CDT.
* PRIMARY THREATS INCLUDE...
SCATTERED DAMAGING WIND GUSTS TO 70 MPH LIKELY
SCATTERED LARGE HAIL AND ISOLATED VERY LARGE HAIL EVENTS TO 2
INCHES IN DIAMETER POSSIBLE
SUMMARY...THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE TO DEVELOP AND AFFECT PARTS OF
MIDDLE/EAST TN THIS AFTERNOON AND EARLY EVENING...WITH A RISK OF
DAMAGING WINDS AND HAIL IN THE STRONGER STORMS.
THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH AREA IS APPROXIMATELY ALONG AND 60
STATUTE MILES NORTH AND SOUTH OF A LINE FROM 60 MILES SOUTHWEST
OF CLARKSVILLE TENNESSEE TO 35 MILES EAST OF KNOXVILLE TENNESSEE.
