PRESS RELEASE: Multiple Meth, Heroin, and Cocaine Drug Arrests

July 16, 2015

RE: Wednesday Drug Arrests

Yesterday, July 15, 2015, around 6:30 p.m., Warsaw Police Narcotics Unit and Indiana State Police officers were following up on a Methamphetamine complaint in the Barbee Lake area when officers observed the subject of the complaint outside the residence at 50 EMS B4 Lane. During the investigation, police located over a gram of finished Meth, several one-pot Meth labs, precursors to the manufacture of Meth, and multiple firearms. Police arrested two individuals and contacted Child Protective Services for a juvenile child that was present. The persons arrested are:
• Tracy Bickel, 54 years old, of Leesburg, IN., was charged with felony Dealing Methamphetamine, Possession of Meth, Possession of Precursors, and Maintaining a Common Nuisance. The charges will be enhanced due to the presence of a child, and presence of the firearms. He is being held in the Kosciusko County Jail on no bond.
• Carrie Schambers, 47 years old, of Leesburg, IN., was charged with felony Possession of Methamphetamine after she attempted to conceal Meth in her pants. She was also charged Neglect of a Dependent, and Maintaining a Common Nuisance. She is also being held with no bond.
The Indiana State Police Methamphetamine Lab clean-up team removed the Meth labs and harmful chemicals.

Also yesterday, Warsaw Police Narcotics officers performed an undercover purchase of what was to be a buy of over five (5) grams of Heroin. Around midnight, Warsaw Police performed a traffic stop on Frontage Road and located Heroin and Cocaine, brought here from Chicago. Police arrested the following three (3) individuals:
• Brian Richardson, 27 years old, of Warsaw, IN., was charged with felony Dealing in a Narcotic, Possession of a Narcotic (Heroin), and Possession of Cocaine.
• Cecilia Torres, 20 years old, of Warsaw, IN., was charged with felony Dealing in a Narcotic, Possession of a Narcotic (Heroin) after five (5) bags of Heroin were retrieved from a body orifice, and Possession of a Controlled Substance.
• Lindsey Fremault, 23 years old, of Warsaw, IN., was charged with felony Dealing in a Narcotic.
All three (3) are being held in the Kosciusko County Jail with no bond. Warsaw Police were assisted in their investigation by the Kosciusko County Drug Task Force, Indiana State Police, Kosciusko County Jail Division, and the Kosciusko County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.
