UPDATE, 11:30 a.m. July 17: Courtenay Whalen, reported missing Wednesday, has been located and is safe. An alert member of the public saw her and called us. Thank you for your assistance.

Police are looking for 45-year-old Courtenay Whalen, who has not been seen since 1:11 a.m. today, July 15. 

Whalen is in Kansas City on vacation with her family. She was last seen at 12th and Wyandotte just after 1 a.m. last night alone, on foot, walking northbound.

She is a white female who is 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs about 120 pounds. She has brown hair with blonde and red highlights. She was last seen wearing black leggings and a one-shouldered black and gold blouse. She has no known mental illness. 

She has not returned to her family, and they are worried about her. Please call 911 if you know where she is.
