National Weather Service has issued a Tornado Watch for an area that includes Marshall County effective until 12:00am on 7/19/2015.
A Tornado Watch means that conditions are right for tornadoes to develop. Additionally, Thunderstorms, some likely severe with damaging winds and isolated hail are possible. Storms may all produce heavy rainfall which could result in flash flooding.
Be ready to move to safety should strong storms develop. The basement, or if you do not have a basement, an interior room without windows is the safety place. If you live in a mobile or modular home, you should strongly consider finding a sturdier structure prior to storms arriving.
Stay tuned to local television and radio for the latest weather updates.
