Announces an Arrest for:
Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, Possession of a Stolen Firearm, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Possession of Schedule III Controlled Substances
The Southern Pines Police Department announces the arrest of Deadrian Tyrell Braziel, 25 years of age, of Aberdeen, North Carolina on the above charges.
On July 17, 2015, at approximately 7:20 pm, the Southern Pines Police Department, along with the Moore County Sheriff’s Office and the Aberdeen Police Department were conducting a collaborative investigation at the Best Western Hotel located at 1675 U.S. Highway 1 in Southern Pines, NC. As a result of this investigation, Deadrian Tyrell Braziel was located in a hotel room and taken into custody without incident. Recovered as a result of this investigation was a .40 caliber Glock semiautomatic pistol, ammunition, marijuana, prescription pills and drug paraphernalia. The .40 caliber Glock semiautomatic pistol had been reported stolen in Moore County, NC in 2014.
Deadrian Tyrell Braziel appeared before a Moore County Magistrate and has court date set for July 28, 2015 in Moore County District Court.
