We're investigating a Dog Bite incident and need your help locating the animal's owner!
The Whitehall Police Department is investigating a reported Dog Bite incident that occurred on Sunday, July 19, 2015, at approximately 9:50 AM on Main Street near the Champlain Canal in the Village of Whitehall.
An elderly subject was reported as walking in the area and was bitten by a dog described as a "Red Nose Pitbull" in the hand, sustaining minor injuries. The dog had left the scene prior to law enforcement investigating.
We are looking to locate the owner of the animal to verify the vaccination status of the animal to ensure the safety of all involved.
