On July 19, 2015 at about 7:36 A.M., Burlington Police and Fire Departments were summoned to Leddy Park in Burlington. A citizen had reported that a subject was found lying on the ground unresponsive. On arrival, first responders confirmed that the subject was deceased. Preliminary indication is that foul play is not a factor and that the death wasn’t suspicious. The name of the deceased is being withheld pending notification of next of kin. Further examination is scheduled to be performed tomorrow by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner (“OCME”) to determine the cause and manner of death.

The name of the deceased male is Eric Bacon, age 56, of Burlington. His family has been notified.
