A special invitation to our National Night Out-2015

The Washington Township Police Department, in conjunction with the National Association of Town Watch, are pleased to welcome you and your family to come together as a community at this year’s National Night Out being held on August 4th, 2015 from 6:00pm until 9:00pm at the Meadow Breeze Park and Pavilion in Washington Township, NJ.
This year will mark another unforgettable crime prevention event, where over 37.5 million people, in more than 15,704 communities, join forces to promote strong police-community partnerships. This event also bonds communities and those whom serve them, to better combat against crime, drugs, violence, along with reinforcing a solid neighborhood unity.

We welcome you to come out and enjoy a fun-filled night with your family and meet the first responders within your communities of Washington Township, Washington Borough, and Oxford Township. A small glimpse of some of the activities and entertainment include:

• Child ID Center (will provide and process child ID kits while you wait)
• Live DJ
• Live demonstration by the Washington Twp. Police K-9 Unit
• Multiple first responder vehicles including fire trucks and ambulances
• Arts and crafts centers
• Food and drinks
• Grilled hamburgers and hotdogs
• Popcorn machines
• Balloons and water balloon launchers
• Moon walks
• Life size alien arcade
• Gifts and toys for handouts
• Blow up horse races
• Much, much more……..
