Board of Water Supply crews repaired the broken valve on Kuhio Ave. at Kalaimoku St. and restored water service at about 7 PM to the eight customers who lost service during the repair.
One west-bound lane on Kuhio Ave. and Kalaimoku St., between Kuhio Ave. and Ala Wai Blvd., will remain closed while crews work to restore the roadway. Motorists are urged to find alternate routes and drive cautiously in that area.The road is expected to be re-opened by tomorrow morning.
