07/21/15 WTPD arrested Tybree Washington, age 19, of Trenton NJ, for a $1000.00 outstanding warrant out of Washington Borough. He was processed and released with a new court date.
07/22/15 WTPD arrested Samantha Rapone, age 20, of Washington NJ, for an outstanding warrant out of Washington Borough. She was processed and released with a new court date.
07/22/15 WTPD arrested James Heimbach, age 28, of Washington NJ, for a local ordinance of maintaining a nuisance. On 07/22/15 at approximately 11:50 AM, patrol was dispatched to a residence on Bense Court in Washington Township for a unknown problem. The officer’s investigation revealed that Mr. Heimbach attempted to hide from patrol in a bush by his residence. He was charged with a local ordinance of maintaining a nuisance and released with a court date.
07/25/15 WTPD arrested Shakeera Green, age 31, of Washington NJ for simple assault. She was processed and released with a mandatory court date.
07/25/15 WTPD arrested Craig Martin, age 53, of Oxford NJ, for being an NCIC wanted person out of Northampton County Pennsylvania. On 07/25/15 at approximately 11:57 AM, patrol was dispatched to Dicola’s Pizza, 50 Rte. 31 N. in Washington Borough, for the report of a male at the outside patio with a laceration to his nose. Upon the officer’s arrival, he located Mr. Martin, who was in need of medical attention and had a small dog with him. While medical attention was being rendered it was revealed that Mr. Martin was a fugitive from justice out of Northampton County, Pa. After receiving medical attention Mr. Martin was taken into custody, processed and charged with being a fugitive from justice, having outstanding warrants totaling $1250.00 out of Washington and Mansfield Townships, he was also issued summonses for a local ordinance of maintaining a nuisance and for a local ordinance for open container of an alcoholic beverage. Mr. Martin was lodged in the WC Jail without bail while awaiting extradition to Pennsylvania. The Washington Township Police were assisted at the scene by the Washington Emergency Squad and the Animal Control Officer.
On 07/25/15, at approximately 1244 AM there was an armed robbery at the Papa John’s Pizza store located at 269 Rte. 31 South in Washington Township. A male entered the business and robbed them of an undisclosed amount of cash. He was described as a white male approximately 6’ tall with a medium build wearing a black hoodie, gray baseball hat, black bandanna over his face and gray long pants (possibly sweat pants).
